After missing the Warriors’ last three games, forward Draymond Green didn’t last long in his return against the Washington Wizards on Saturday at Chase Center.

The Golden State veteran left Saturday’s game about nine minutes before the end of the first quarter and then went to the Warriors’ locker room after a side conversation with director of sports medicine and performance Rick Celebrini. The Warriors ruled Green out of the game shortly afterward because of left calf strain.

It’s unclear exactly when Green felt tightness in his calf, but he appeared to be limping on the court before leaving the game. Green started Saturday’s game for the Warriors and had one rebound while missing his only shot attempt three minutes into the game before being ejected.

The 34-year-old missed the Warriors’ game against the Indiana Pacers on Jan. 10 with a back injury and then was sidelined for the next two games against the Toronto Raptors and Minnesota Timberwolves because of an illness. He most recently struggled with a calf injury at the beginning of December.
