Kerr provides updates on Steph and Dray’s injuries following the Stars’ exit. Warriors’ win originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area
The Warriors cruised to a 122-114 win over the Washington Wizards on Saturday night, but the triumph didn’t come without some stressful moments.
Not only was Golden State up to 10 points behind the NBA’s worst team, but the Warriors’ two veteran leaders were also sidelined with injuries.
After the game, coach Steve Kerr gave an update on guard Steph Curry and forward Draymond Green.
“Draymond will have an MRI tomorrow,” Kerr told reporters. “Steph just told me he doesn’t think it’s serious, but for now they’ll both be normal.”
Curry was substituted in the final minute of the fourth quarter after Jordan Poole landed awkwardly on the Warriors star’s right ankle.

However, the Warriors guard appears confident about his status for Monday’s showdown against the Boston Celtics.

Green’s condition, however, appears to be more uncertain. After missing Golden State’s last three games due to a back injury and illness, the forward played just three minutes early in Saturday’s game before withdrawing due to left calf strain.
“We don’t really know,” Kerr replied when asked about the level of concern surrounding Green. “So we’ll have to wait and see what the MRI shows tomorrow and assess it in the next few days, then we’ll find out what’s next.”

The Warriors would like to have both Green and Curry against the 29-13 Celtics in their nationally televised Martin Luther King Jr. Day game, especially given the current absences of several other key players.
