Merab Dvalishvili ended Umar Nurmagomedov’s unbeaten streak for his first bantamweight title defense at UFC 311 on Saturday.
Dvalishvili (19-4 MMA, 12-2 UFC), entering as a betting underdog, pulled off the METHOD upset win over Nurmagomedov (18-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC), retaining his 135-pound belt and extending his winning streak to 12 consecutive bouts in the co-main event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
