Chris Hemsworth Names the Star He Was Most ‘Intimidated’ to Work With!
Chris Hemsworth has worked alongside some of the most talented actors in Hollywood, from Anya Taylor-Joy to Robert Downey Jr. and Miles Teller. However, there’s one actor whose presence left the Australian actor feeling more intimidated than ever. Chris Hemsworth is currently preparing for the release of Crime 101, where he plays Davis, a jewel thief. In this highly anticipated film, Chris Hemsworth stars alongside fellow MCU alum Mark Ruffalo, Irish actor Barry Keoghan, and Monica Barbaro.

Halle Berry’s Praise
While promoting the film at CinemaCon, Halle Berry, one of the co-stars, shared her admiration for Hemsworth, calling him a “real stand-up guy.” Berry went on to recount a moment during filming when Hemsworth stood up for her. She explained that Chris Hemsworth’s support, especially in a pivotal moment, made her respect him even more. “He didn’t have to do it, and he did it,” Berry remarked, adding that from that point forward, she considered him one of her “new favorite people.”

Hemsworth’s Admiration for Halle Berry
While Berry praised Hemsworth’s character, the Australian actor was equally in awe of his co-star’s immense talent. Hemsworth admitted that working alongside Berry was a deeply intimidating experience for him. “I’ve admired Halle’s work for many, many years,” he confessed. “I was very intimidated to sit opposite her and try not to be in awe of what she was doing.” Despite the intimidation, Chris Hemsworth felt a deep sense of comfort working with Berry. “Some people just bring out the best in you, and that was the experience with her,” he shared.
Billie Eilish and the Oscars Selfie
Interestingly, Chris Hemsworth’s tendency to feel flustered around certain celebrities didn’t end with Halle Berry. During a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Hemsworth revealed that he was starstruck by Billie Eilish at the 2025 Oscars. The actor confessed that he asked the 23-year-old musician for a selfie, jokingly stating, “I went from work colleague to now like a fan.”

Despite his towering presence as Thor and his extensive list of blockbuster roles, Chris Hemsworth remains a fan at heart when it comes to certain celebrities. Whether it’s Halle Berry’s talent or Billie Eilish’s music, Hemsworth proves that even the biggest stars can still be starstruck.
