Woman Received Suspicious Note That Led To Save A Kidnapped Victim!
In a shocking turn of events at a gas station in Cedar City, Utah, a woman found herself involved in a life-saving rescue after receiving a desperate message from a woman claiming to be kidnapped. The incident occurred on March 8 when a woman, who was stopping at a petrol station to use the restroom, became an unlikely hero.
The Desperate Plea for Help
While using the bathroom, the woman was approached by another woman who, in a rushed and panicked manner, handed her a piece of paper with a chilling message. The note explained that the woman was being held against her will and that her phone had been taken away. She urgently asked the woman to pass the note to the police.

“I said, ‘Are you in trouble?’ and she said, ‘Yes,'” the woman later explained. “I’ll help you.” The distressed woman, visibly shaken, told her captor was waiting outside and hurriedly left the restroom, leaving the note with her.
A Quick Thinking Hero
After receiving the note, the woman decided to act immediately. Pretending to be on her phone, she discreetly recorded a video of the alleged kidnapper. As she observed the situation, she saw the man and the woman get into a Chevrolet Equinox, just as the woman had written on the note. The woman quickly followed the car, noting its license plate number, and contacted the police, relaying the critical information.
Police Intervention and the Arrest
Thanks to the woman’s quick thinking and the detailed information provided, the Iron County Sheriff’s Office acted fast. A deputy was able to pull the vehicle over. Upon approaching the car, the officer noticed that the woman inside was acting strangely, which prompted further investigation.

The man, 53-year-old, was arrested after it was revealed he had been in a relationship with the woman for 25 years. He had allegedly changed their route that morning, accusing her of cheating and taking away her phone to prevent her from calling for help. Court documents also revealed that the man struck her in the face, causing lasting pain.
A Heroic Action
The woman who had been handed the note, who wishes to remain anonymous, shared that she stayed a safe distance behind to ensure the police wouldn’t let the man drive off with the woman. “I was just more worried like ‘What if she panics and says ‘I’m fine?’ I wanted to make sure the cops don’t let her go back with him,” she said.

The man faces multiple charges, including aggravated kidnapping, assault, and providing false identification. Thanks to the brave actions of a concerned stranger, a dangerous situation was defused, and the victim was rescued from an abusive and terrifying ordeal.
